  Cabinet approves international status for Madurai airport, extends Jal Jeevan mission till 2028

  The Union Cabinet has approved two major decisions. Madurai Airport in Tamil Nadu will be declared an international airport to boost connectivity, tourism, and trade. The Jal Jeevan Mission has been extended until 2028.
