  This is the second seismic event in the region this month. On July 13, an earthquake of magnitude 4.7 had also been recorded in the Andaman Sea, with similar depth and coordinates slightly west of Saturday’s tremor.

  New Delhi: An earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale hit the Andaman Sea today but the Met department ruled out tsunami.According to Laxman Singh Rathore, Director General of the Indian Meteorological Department, the earthquake
