Serum Institute to apply for emergency-use authorisation of covishield in 2 weeks
News | Nov 29, 2020, 12:38 PM ISTAfter holding a review meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday, Serum Institute of India CEO Adar Poonawalla said that in the process of applying for emergency use authorization of Covishield in the next two weeks. He also said that there is an indication that the Centre may purchase 300-400 million doses by July 2021. "We are in the process of applying for emergency use authorization of Covishield in the next two weeks," Poonawala said.
