Sonbhadra massacre: Ready to go to jail, says Priyanka Gandhi after UP authorities ask her for Rs 50,000 bail bond
India | Jul 20, 2019, 02:29 PM ISTCongress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi has alleged she was asked for a bail bond of Rs 50,000 by the Uttar Pradesh authorities. Gandhi also said the state authorities told her she would face 14-day jail if she does not fill the bail bond. Priyanka Gandhi was detained on Friday while she was on her way to Sonbhadra, where 9 people were killed over a land dispute. Gandhi was later taken to Chunar guest house, where she stayed Friday night.
