Taj Mahal, other monuments reopen today

The visitors are able to entry tickets online and no offline booking facility available. Tourist on June 16 flocked to the Taj Mahal after the decision. Strict COVID-protocols will be followed. A restriction of only 650 people at a time has also been imposed by the Agra District Magistrate Prabhu N Singh. "It's a sign of love. I came here first time after marriage with my wife. We are feeling good," a visitor said. "Taj Mahal has opened and visitors will come and it will help us in earning," a shopkeeper said. The Taj Mahal was closed on April 16 following surge in COVID -19 cases.
