As per an official release, the intelligence-based operation was conducted at sea near the notional International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL).

ICG apprehends fishing vessel off Maharashtra coast, unaccounted diesel valued Rs 27 lakh seized
Maharashtra | May 16, 2024, 09:37 PM ISTIndian Coast Guard (ICG) intercepted the fishing vessel ‘Jay Malhar’ and apprehended its five-man crew for illegal diesel smuggling off the Maharashtra coast. Approximately five tonnes of unaccounted diesel, valued at around Rs 27 lakh, was seized, along with a small quantity of banned narcotics.
