However, Archer further hinted that he could be using the short ball as a partnership-breaker, regardless of the nature of the pitches and Indian conditions. "It probably depends on the team combination. If we go in with three seamers, I’ll probably have to bowl long spells. But that doesn’t matter to me at the end of the day. If the situation demands for me or the other seamers to deliver, so be it," said the Barbados-born pacer.
