Rosemary Jennings was born in Barbados, West Indies. She was introduced to the sport by Aereal Johnson who was very persistent in transforming her body into that of a bodybuilder.
She accomplished this after four years as an amateur on July 27, 2002 at the NPC USA held in Las Vegas.
