New Delhi, Feb 25: The BCCI on Friday said opener Virender Sehwag has been hit on the left ribcage in the nets.
"He is currently under medication; however he is expected to be fit for the match against England on Sunday", said N Srinivasan, BCCI secretary.
Srinivasan has appealed to the media to refrain from constantly contacting Team India members on phone, SMS for interviews and bites, as, he said, the players would like to concentrate on the ongoing World Cup matches.
