The Women's T20 World Cup 2026 is less than a month away as England holds its breath to host the sporting extravaganza in June-July. The tournament has been expanded, as - for the first time - 12 teams set to battle for the ultimate T20 prize.
Hosts England kick the tournament off against Sri Lanka on June 12 at Birmingham, Edgbaston and will see 33 games running in 24 days. The final will be played at the iconic Lord's on July 5.
Groups have been divided into two. Group A features 2020 runners-up India, six-time champions Australia, 2023 and 2024 runners-up South Africa, Pakistan, Bangladesh and T20 WC debutants Netherlands. Group B features defending champions New Zealand, 2016 winners West Indies, 2009 champions England, Sri Lanka, Scotland and Ireland.
