Maval Lok Sabha election 2019 result Live updates: Parth Pawar trails by more than 1 lakh votes

Shiv Sena has won last two Lok Sabha elections in Maval Lok Sabha seat.

Sharad Pawar's grand-nephew Parth Pawar is contesting Lok Sabha elections from Maval

Counting of votes for Maval Lok Sabha constituency is underway, and Shiv Sena's Shrirang Barne is likely to register a victory over rival Parth Pawar. Parth Pawar, grand nephew of Sharad Pawar is trailing Barne with more than 1 lakh votes.

Maval Lok Sabha constituency is parliamentary constituency number 33 in Maharashtra.

Shiv Sena's Shrirang Barne is the current MP of Maval Lok Sabha constituency.

In 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Barne defeated PWPI's J Laxman by a margin of about 13 per cent votes.

In last 2 Lok Sabha elections, Shiv Sena secured victory in Maval

Maval Lok Sabha constituency has 16,04,886 voters of which 53 per cent are men while 47 per cent are women.

The seven phases of the Lok Sabha polls 2019 covered a total of 543 constituencies. Voting in the first phase was conducted on April 11. 

Simultaneous elections were held to the assemblies of Arunachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Sikkim, and Odisha -- the results for which will also be out today.
