New Delhi: Remember Sarbjit Singh, the Indian who was forced to spend a large part of his life in prison in Pakistan? Despite several efforts by her sister Dalbir Kaur, Sarbjit was given death sentence by Pakistan judicial system.

Well, this gut-wrenching tale is all set to give goosebumps once again, but this time on the silver screen.

Yes! We are talking about the biopic ‘Sarbjit’ as the trailer of the much awaited movie is out now.

Starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Randeep Hooda in the lead, ‘Sarabjit’ focuses on the journey of a sister fighting for justice for her brother for over two decades.

Randeep Hooda, who plays the role of Sarbjit, has given an amazing performance, as his painful cries and suffering sends down a cold wave down your spine.

On the other hand, Aishwarya, who is seen playing the role of Sarbjit- Dalbir Kaur, has portrayed her character pretty well, be it getting that Punjabi touch in her tone to showing up the pain and helplessness to the will to fight back against all the odds. Her act makes it to one of the finest performances in her career till date.

‘Sarbjit’ also features Richa Chadha, who plays the role of Sarbjit’s wife.

Helmed by Omung Kumar, this heart-rending story will it the theatres on May 20, 2017.
