In the season of Bollywood clashes, superstars Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan might not have one, after all. Grapevine is abuzz that Akshay has delayed the release of his movie ‘Crack’ from Independence week 2017 to somewhere in 2018. Therefore, this will give solo release to Shah Rukh Khan’s yet untitled project on 11th August 2017.

Earlier this week, superstar Salman Khan unveiled the poster of SRK’s movie with Imtiaz Ali and the release date. He, however, didn’t reveal the title and asked Internet folks to find one.

The announcement of the release date confirmed that it would clash with Akshay’s ‘Crack’, making it for yet another big Bollywood clash. But, Akshay is said to have postponed his release date to avoid cluttering.

An insider in the know told a daily that Akshay’s ‘Jolly LLB 2’ will release in February, ‘Toilet : Ek Prem Katha’ somewhere around June-July. The Khildai Kumar also has ‘2.0’ for a Diwali release. Given these three movies, it would get difficult for him to adjust a fourth release in August.

So, now Akshay’s ‘Crack’ will release in 2018 giving a freeway to SRK-Anushka’s love story.

Only yesterday, Akshay revealed the poster of his first release of 2017, ‘Jolly LLB 2’. In the movie he plays the role of a lawyer and actress Huma Qureshi his love interest. Currently, Akshay is filming for ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ in parts of Uttar Pradesh. The movie is a satirical take on sanitation and aims to spread awareness about the same.
