PM Modi stated that the work to beautify Ayodhya is ongoing, envisioning a future where tradition and modernity blend seamlessly. He highlighted that the Saryu River will flow alongside development, and continuous efforts are being made to provide better facilities for Ayodhya residents. Since the Pran Pratishtha, over 45 crore devotees have visited, boosting income and prosperity for the city and surrounding areas.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "Lord Ram embodies a complete value system. Ram resides in every Indian home and in the hearts of every Indian. The mindset of mental slavery has become so pervasive that even Lord Ram was at times dismissed as imaginary. If we resolve ourselves, we can break free from this mental bondage. Nothing can stop us from achieving the dream of a developed India by 2047." He added, "India is the mother of democracy. We must emerge from the shackles of the colonial mindset."

PM Modi highlighted the symbolic significance of various temples and statues at Ayodhya, saying, “To build a developed India, society’s collective strength is essential. Here, the Sapt Mandir have been constructed. The Mata Shabari temple represents the love and devotion of the tribal community. The Nishadraj temple symbolizes friendship and reverence for his spirit. Statues of Jatayu and the squirrel are also present, demonstrating that even small efforts contribute to great resolutions. Every citizen visiting the Ram Mandir should also pay homage to the Sapt Rishis.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "I extend my heartfelt greetings to millions of Ram devotees across the world. Today, I bow to all those who contributed to the construction of the Ram Mandir and congratulate everyone associated with this historic project. Ayodhya is the land where ideals are transformed into exemplary conduct. It is the city where Shri Ram began his life, and it has shown how a person becomes the epitome of virtue through the strength of society and its values."

While addressing the gathering, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that today, the city of Ayodhya witnesses yet another pinnacle of cultural consciousness, as the entire India and the world resonate with the spirit of Ram. Devotees feel an unparalleled sense of fulfillment. Centuries-old wounds are being healed, centuries of pain find their pause, and the long-standing resolve is finally achieving fruition. Today marks the culmination of a sacred yajna whose flame has burned for 500 years.

RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat said, “Today is a day of fulfillment for everyone. The souls of those who sacrificed their lives for this cause must be content today.” He added, “The flag of Ram Rajya, which once waved in Ayodhya, we have witnessed it hoisted with our own eyes today.”

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath presented miniature models of the saffron flag, ceremonially hoisted atop the Shikhar of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, along with the Ram Lalla idol, to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat, commemorating the historic Dhwajarohan ceremony.

Devotees rejoiced as the saffron flag was hoisted atop the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple Shikhar, built in the traditional North Indian Nagara style. The right-angled triangular flag, measuring 10 feet in height and 20 feet in length, features a radiant Sun symbolising Lord Ram’s brilliance and valour, along with the sacred Kovidara tree and an ‘Om’ inscription, conveying dignity, unity, and cultural continuity while embodying the ideals of Ram Rajya.

The 'Dhwajarohan' ceremony at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir is scheduled to begin during the auspicious Abhijit Muhurat at 11:55 AM and will conclude within 10 minutes, marking a brief but historic and spiritually significant event.

The Kovidar tree, featured on the saffron flag at the Ayodhya Ram Mandir, is a hybrid of the Mandar and Parijat trees, created by Rishi Kashyap as an example of ancient plant hybridisation. The flag also bears a radiant Sun, symbolising Lord Ram’s Suryavansh lineage, and the sacred ‘Om’, representing the eternal spiritual sound. The flag hoisting coincides with the auspicious Abhijit Muhurat of Shri Ram and Maa Sita’s Vivah Panchami.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are present at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir to attend the historic Dhwajarohan ceremony.

Shrish Bahubali Maharaj of Shringverpur Dham expressed his excitement at participating in the Dhwajarohan ceremony, saying, "I am feeling very good to be here. I am carrying Gangajal with me, which I will give to PM Modi for performing the Abhishek on the flag."

Reflecting on the temple’s construction and his contribution to this sacred occasion, he shared that Ram Lalla, adorned in a golden peetambar along with all the deities in the Ram Mandir complex, will present a divine and mesmerizing sight on this auspicious day.

Hanuman Garhi temple priest Mahant Raju Das expressed his excitement over the Ayodhya Dhwajarohan, saying that when the saffron flag is hoisted atop the Shikhar under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, the entire world will be imbued with the spirit of Sanatan Dharma. He highlighted that Sanatan teaches the victory of Dharma, the destruction of Adharma, harmony among all beings, and the welfare of the world, emphasizing the principle of “Sarva Bhavatu Sukhinah, Sarvasantu Niramay.” Reflecting on the past, Mahant Raju Das recalled how devotees longed for the temple when Ram Lalla was in the tent and later in the temporary structure, and now, with the grand temple completed, the Prime Minister’s flag-hoisting marks the fulfillment of that historic anticipation, filling devotees with immense joy and excitement.

Totadri Math Jagadguru Swami Anantacharya described the Ayodhya Dhwajarohan as an exemplary event for the world, emphasizing that the flag signifies the temple’s sacredness and serves as a symbol visible from a distance. He noted that the flag, hoisted high, represents the pinnacle of virtue and is traditionally raised during auspicious occasions and acts of goodness. Swami Anantacharya added that completion is a universal law, and with this ceremony, good things will only grow better, benefiting everyone and serving the greater interest of the country.

As part of the arrangements for the historic Dhwajarohan ceremony in Ayodhya, a special Bhandara (community meal) has been organized for the police personnel and security forces deployed across the city. The meal is being provided to ensure the officers and staff, who are working tirelessly to maintain strict security and smooth management of the event, are well-fed and energized throughout the day. The deployment includes thousands of personnel, including ATS commandos, NSG snipers, cyber experts, and technical teams, all playing a crucial role in safeguarding the temple premises and managing the large gathering of devotees and dignitaries.

The flag-hoisting ceremony at the Ram Temple will take place during the auspicious Abhijit Muhurat, coinciding with Vivah Panchami on November 25. Abhijit Muhurat is considered one of the most sacred and powerful moments in Hindu astrology—a victorious, obstacle-removing period believed to bring success, purity, and divine blessings. Prior to the event, special rituals and prayers are underway inside the temple.

The flag to be hoisted atop the Ram Temple is saffron in color, measuring 22 feet in length and 11 feet in width. It bears the symbols of Surya Dev, the Kovidar tree, and the sacred Om. This flag will be elevated to a height of 191 feet from the ground. The temple’s main shikhar is 161 feet high, above which a special flagpole has been installed. Due to the heavyweight ropes required to raise the flag, machines have been attached for support, along with a button-operated mechanism for hoisting. The Indian Army has also been involved to assist in the flag-hoisting process.

The right-angled triangular saffron flag will feature the Sun symbol, representing eternal energy, divine radiance, virtue, and enlightenment—qualities deeply associated with Lord Ram. Inscribed with the sacred symbol ‘Om’, the flag will be hoisted atop a shikhar constructed in the traditional North Indian Nagara architectural style.

Women workers in Ayodhya have been carving stones for installation in the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Temple, expressing pride and joy as the temple prepares for the flag-hoisting ceremony during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit. One worker shared that 25 women have been involved in the effort and are thrilled to see their hard work completed, while another, who has worked there for four years, said she feels fortunate to witness this historic moment and is proud that the stones crafted by their hands are now part of the temple.
