Okay, the results for the Adilabad Municipality are out. BJP is the single-largest party as it has won 21 wards, while the Congress stands joint second with Others on 11 wards. BRS go down as it has won just six wards. BRS, formerly known as TRS, was the largest party in the Municipality in 2020, having won 24 wards.

BJP has won 19 seats in Adilabad Municipality. Others are second with 12 ward wins, while Congress clinched nine wards. BRS has won in six wards as only a handful of results remain in the Municipality now.

BJP has won 18 wards in Adilabad and is eyeing a win here. Congress has won nine, BRS has clinched six wards, while others have won seven wards.

BJP is leading in Adilabad. The party has won eight seats, while Congress, BRS and Others have won one each. There are 49 wards in the Municipality as there is a chance for others to catch up. BRS, then known as TRS had won the Municipality. 

BJP is now making moves in the Adilabad Municipality. The saffron party has won five wards, while the INC has won one, with Others taking one ward as well. Results on 42 more wards are awaited, which will be out soon. 

And now the BJP opens its account in the Adilabad Municipality. The party has won two wards: Ward 47 and Ward 48 in the 49-ward Municipality. The Congress party had earlier won Ward No.37. BJP wins another to lead 3-1 in the Municipality.

The first result of the Adilabad Municipality is out now. Congress candidate A.Sushma has won Ward No.37 in the 49-ward member municipality.

Congress has gone past 500 wards out of 2582 wards in the municipalities. It has won 511 wards, while the BRS is a distant second with 283 ward wins.

BRS, which won the previous Urban local body polls, fielded 48 candidates in the Adilabad Municipality this time. BJP, whose MP Godam Nagesh belongs to the district, fielded candidates on all 49 wards. INC has contested on all 49 wards. Independent candidates are fighting in 43 wards.

Congress has won two Municipalities out of five in Mahabubabad as the party is leading 2-0. Congress won the Maripeda ward with eight wins to BRS' six, with one going to an independent. The Grand Old Party also won the Dornakal Municipality with 11-4 against BRS.

While the Adilabad results are awaited, Congress would be pleased that it has won two Municipalities in the Mahabubabad district. The grand old party has won the Maripeda Municipality after a tough contest from BRS, while the party also clinched the Dornakal Municipality as it has won 10 of the 15 wards.

The BRS is recovering now in the Municipalities as it is closing in on the ruling Congress. As per the early results, Congress has won 38 wards, while the BRS has clinched 27 wards. BJP is a distant third with six wards.

Godam Nagesh is an Indian politician from Telangana, associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He comes from the Gond community and has been active in politics for several decades. He was born on 21 October 1964 in Jatarla, Adilabad, Telangana. Godam Nagesh began his political career with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and was elected multiple times as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from the Boath seat in the 1990s and 2000s.

BJP would be looking to come into power in the Adilabad district, as the party has its MP in the Adilabad Lok Sabha Constituency. Godam Nagesh is the MP from the constituency. However, BRS were the largest party in 2020, having won 24 of the 49 wards.

The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), then known as the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) emerged as the largest party in the Adilabad Municipality last time. The party secured 24 of the 49 wards, while the BJP won 11 wards with the INC and the AIMIM bagging five wards each.

The voting for the Telangana Municipal Election took place on February 11. A total of 73 per cent of voters exercised their franchise on Wednesday in the municipal elections which passed off well barring minor skirmishes at a few places. The State Election Commission (SEC) said 73.01 per cent of voting was recorded. "The polling passed off peacefully", DGP B Shivadhar Reddy said.

The previous urban local body elections in Adilabad saw the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) emerge as the single-largest party, securing 24 wards. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) finished a distant second with 11 wards, while the Indian National Congress (INC) won five — the same tally as the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM).

There is only one Municipality in the Adilabad district, and that is the Adilabad Municipality. There are a total of 49 wards in the Municipality, for which the results will be announced today. The counting process has begun with votes being counted on ballot paper.
