Watch: PM Modi interacts with Women World Cup champions, Indian players share stories related to final

PM Modi expressed his delight for meeting the cricketers after their World Cup win while the players were also happy to share their stories with the Prime Minister. They also cut a cake and enjoyed sweets after their meeting. PM Modi also cracked a few jokes during his meet with the players. He made sure to hand sweets to Pratika Rawal who was in her wheelchair.

PM Modi believes the World Cup win would be a massive motivation for the girls in the country. He also asks the players to go to their respective schools after going to their home and spend a day with the young girls. 

Arundhati Reddy revealed that PM Modi is a hero for her mother.

PM Modi commended Renuka Singh Thakur's mother for raising her and making her an able cricketer despite being a single parent.

Uma Chetry explained how happy and nervous she was to make her India debut in the World Cup. She revealed that she wanted to win the match for India and revealed that the team was supporting her right through and encouraging her.

Sneh Rana credited the bowling coach Avishkar Salvi who worked hard with the bowling team during the World Cup.

PM Modi didn't forget Richa Ghosh's contribution to the team during the World Cup.

Richa also stated that she worked hard for the same and it came good eventually.

PM Modi makes sure to ask Amanjot Kaur about her famous catch that dismissed Laura Wolvaardt. He also noted that it was the turning point of the match.

Amanjot Kaur also says in response that her fumble was the most famous one in her career. She said that she was seeing the World Cup when the ball was coming to her.

Pratika Rawal reveals that the team decided to win the World Cup for her after she got injured during the game against Bangladesh.

PM Modi responds to her, saying that team spirit is massively important in the sport. 

Kranti Gaud, the fast bowler who took the new ball in the World Cup, revealed that she played with boys and also narrated her journey from there on.

PM Modi asked Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur about keeping the ball to her after taking the winning catch.

She responded that it was God's plan that she took the final catch and she made sure that the ball remained with her.

PM Modi pulled Deepti Sharma's leg as 'DSP' and asked if she controlled the team before coming to meet him.

Deepti was polite in response and stated that the Prime Minister is a motivation to her and she learns a lot from him how calm and cool he remains.

Indian head coach Amol Muzumdar also narrated a manifestation story on the England tour. When restricted to taking more than 20 members on the England tour, he stated that he manifested that they would meet PM Modi on November 4 or 5 after winning the World Cup.

Indian players - Smriti, Sneh Rana, Jemimah Rodrigues and Harleen Deol - are telling interesting stories about the unity in the team and the way they fought like a team during the World Cup despite losing three consecutive matches.

PM Modi interested in hearing interesting stories about the team in the World Cup. However, he first congratulated the team on winning the World Cup for the first time in history. He also made sure to let them know that the entire country is proud of them of what they did on the cricket field.
