Kingston (Jamaica), Jun 28: West Indies captain Dwayne Bravo won the toss and chose to bowl first against Sri Lanka in the opening one-day cricket international of the tri-series at Sabina Park on Friday.



West Indies omitted Devon Smith and Tino Best from its squad of 13. Wicketkeeper Denesh Ramdin was recalled after serving a two-match ban during the Champions Trophy.

Sri Lanka brought back opening batsman Upul Tharanga in its 11, with Kusal Perera, Shaminda Eranga, Dilhara Lokuhettige and Sachithra Senanayake left out from its squad of 15.

India, the third team in the tournament, begins its campaign on Sunday against the hosts at the same venue.
