IND vs SA 2nd Test Day 3 Live Cricket Score: South Africa on top in Guwahati with 314-run lead

Bad light again stops play and it is stumps in Guwahati. South Africa are 26/0 after 8 overs and they have a lead of 314 runs now.

The visitors are well on top and India will need a miracle to make a comeback in this Test.

The third day is closing in on an end here. The umpires had a light check here. Time for spin, Kuldeep Yadav to chance his arm here.

India are in major trouble after having conceded a lead of 288. The bowlers need to bowl out of their skins to bowl South Africa out quickly.

Aiden Markram and Ryan Rickelton are out in the middle. Jasprit Bumrah has the new ball in hand as the second innings begin. The first ball has been dispatched away for four by Rickelton. A brilliant start for the Proteas. 

Team India trails by 288 runs, and with South Africa coming out to bat, the visitors will look to further increase their lead and take the game away from team India. 

Marco Jansen takes his sixth wicket, as India are bundled out for 201 runs. South Africa are coming out to bat again, they have not enforced the follow on. 

Kuldeep Yadav departs on a score of 19 runs. Playing a resilient knock of 134 deliveries, a brilliant stand on the crease by the bowler. Marco Jansen takes his fifth wicket of the innings. India now 194-9.

KL Rahul departs on a score of 22 runs! South Africa draw first blood, Keshav Maharaj with the first wicket!

This is an absolute belter to bat on today and South Africa have made the most of it. They are closing in on their 500 now. What a massive task it will be for India now.

Muthusamy and Verreynne have built quite the partnership here. After 118.2 overs, the score reads 330-6. Muthusamy on 65 and Verreyne on 43. 

Jasprit Bumrah has the ball in hand as the game continues after tea. Muthusamy takes the strike, South Africa on a score of 316/6.

India will be glad with a comeback of sorts in the final session, taking as many as four wickets, including the two set batters, Temba Bavuma and Tristan Stubbs. South Africa won't be too disappointed with their effort, but Tony de Zorzi losing his wicket in dying minutes will surely be gutted.

Temba Bavuma wanted to get it over the mid-off fielder but chipped it straight to Yashasvi Jaiswal, who took a good low catch as Ravindra Jadeja broke the 84-run partnership for the third wicket. South Africa are three down.

Bavuma and Stubbs are back out in the middle. Souh Africa on a score of 156/2, as the two batters look to pose further problems for team India.

With Tristan Stubbs and Temba Bavuma well set on the crease, the two will hope to take their partnership forward. On the other hand, team India will look to find ways to break the partnership after lunch.

South Africa are cruising in Guwahati. The score reads 152-2 after 53.1 overs. Bavuma and Stubbs still on the crease as India continue their search for wickets. 

Tristan Stubbs and Temba Bavuma are still set on the crease. Stubbs has scored 22 and Bavuma has scored 32. Proteas now on a score of 142/2.

South Africa are on a score of 113-2 after 37 overs, Bavuma and Stubbs are looking set on the crease, and they will hope to post a big total on the board here.

The duo of Aiden Markram and Ryan Rickelton are looking quite dangerous here in Guwahati. Both on 30+ scores now, India will look to break this partnership as soon as possible.
