Suryakumar Yadav stole the show in Raipur as India are now on the verge of getting the job done. Two runs are now needed in 30 balls. India are set to take a 2-0 lead int he five-match series in Raipur.

Suryakumar Yadav completed his half-century in just 23 balls. Massive boost for India ahead of the T20 World Cup 2026. India are 143/3 after 10.4 oves.

Ish Sodhi broke the partnership as Ishan Kishan departed for 76 runs off 32 balls. Suryakumar Yadav hugged Kishan after the dismissal, India are 128/3 after 9.1 overs. Shivam Dube head towards the crease. 

Zak Foulkes conceded 49 runs in his two overs. Suryakumar Yadav smacked 25 runs off his second over as India are cruising towards a massive victory. End of the 9th over, India are 128/2

Courtesy of Ishan Kishan's heroics, India are 103/2 after just eight overs. Kishan has moved to 70s now. India are wreaking havoc in the middle. 106 runs are needed to win in 72 balls. The partnership currently reads 97 off 47. 

Ishan Kishan registers a 21-ball half-century. The southpaw is here to make number three his own. Terrific batting after India lost two early wickets. India are 75/2 after six overs.

Ishan Kishan changed the tide for India. The southpaw smacked the unbeaten 29 runs off 13 balls as India are 42/2 after four overs. Kishan will aim to keep up with the momentum, as Suryakumar Yadav joined him in the middle after Abhishek's dismissal.

Abhishek Sharma registered a golden duck in the second T20I. Jacob Duffy got the better of him. The southpaw attempted for a glory shot right away but straight to Devon Conway in the deep. Massive blow for India as they are 6/2 now.

Samson failed to capitalise on the dropped catch. He departed after scoring six runs off five balls. Matt Henry got the better of him in the first over itself. New Zealand start well as India chase 209 runs in the second innings. 

Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma open the chase for India against New Zealand. Interestingly, Samson has already been dropped by Devon Conway for 0. India would look for a positive start.

Zak Foulkes finished New Zealand's innings well. The BlackCaps posted 208/6 in the first innings. Arshdeep Singh proved costly in the final over while Mitchell Santner played the perfect captain's knock, scoring unbeaten 47 runs off 27 balls.

Mark Chapman departed for 10 runs off 13 balls. New Zealand are 161/6 after 16.5 overs. Hardik Pandya got the better of the New Zealand international with a slower delivery. The visitors need to finish well to put any sort of pressure on India.

New Zealand are 151/5 after 15 overs. Mitchell Santner and Mark Chapman are in the middle and trying to keep the scoreboard ticking. They would aim to score at least 50 more runs in the next five overs. 

The in-form batter Rachin Ravindra departed after scoring 44 runs offf 26 balls. Kuldeep Yadav got the better of the New Zealand international. The Kiwis are reduced to 129/5 in the middle. 

Daryl Mitchell departed for 18 runs off 11 balls. Shivam Dube gave the breakthrough in the 12th over of the match. Mitchell attempted to clear the ground but stright to Hardik Pandya in long-on. New Zealand are 125/4

Rachin Ravindra is heading towards a half-century, while Daryl Mitchell has looked good so far. They are not changing the impact, despite losing three wickets. New Zealand are 120/3 after 11 overs.

After conceding 14 runs in the over, Kuldeep Yadav picked up the prized wicket of Glenn Phillips, who departed for 19 runs off 13 balls. New Zealand are reduced to 98/3 after 8.5 overs.

Rachin Ravindra is on song in Raipur. After a slow start, the southpaw has changed gear and is batting aggresively in the middle. He has quickly moved to the 30s as Glenn Phillips is taking some time to settle down. New Zealand are 84/2 after eight overs. 

Varun Chakaravarthy strikes now, again in his first over!! Tim Siefert is the man to be dismissed. He was looking dangerous at 24 runs at a strike of 200. A brilliant comeback from India.

Harshit Rana strikes! Devon Conway has been dismissed and Rana has done the job yet again for India. A whirlwind start for New Zealand but India have broken through. Rachin Ravindra is the next man in.

Pitch and Conditions: "We are in Raipur, this also happens to be India's 100th T20I game at home. Well, this is the biggest ground, so let's start with the dimension. This is right in the centre of the ground, this strip here. So 68 metres on either side, 75 metres down the ground. A bit patchy in places, with sprouting bits here and there. But the grass that is here is kind of dead and rolled in, and you can still see quite a few cracks in and around the surface. It might play a little bit better than it looked. That was certainly the case in the previous game. It played better than it looked. But I just feel that it might be a little bit low, a little bit slow. Historically, in T20 contests, this has been a low-scoring venue. But the ODI (Vijay Hazare game) that was played here a month ago, 720 runs. I think the spinners are going to come into play. I love the boundary sizes. And if it does grip a touch early on, the spinners are certainly going to come into play with the boundary sizes. So that is a good thing. Because looking at those cracks, they might play a part. But then take a step back and you see that sheen there, that just tells the ball's going to come nicely onto the bat. It's going to skid through. It should be a high-scoring game. The other important fact of the game that you mentioned a couple of months ago, the dew was a massive, massive, had a role to play. So that makes toss very, very important. So if you win the toss, you definitely do want to chase here," inform Deep Dasgupta and Simon Doull.

Raipur has hosted only one T20I so far, back in 2023 and both teams are in a bit of an unknown in terms of the pitch. The pitch is expected to be flat for entertainment and team winning the toss might bowl first.

It is a season of injuries and Axar Patel was added to a long list a couple of days ago. He walked off midway through his over after sustaining an injury. Will he play today or will India make a precautionary move and rest him? Is the injury serious? We will get to know soon.
