IND vs NAM Live Cricket Score Updates: Second innings underway, India looking for early wickets

India posted 209 runs in the first innings. Terrific finish from Namibia in Delhi. India were cruising with the bat in the middle but Namibia managed to pull the break. Just 25 runs in the final four overs for India as they lost five wickets in the same phase.

Rinku Singh departed for one run off six balls. It just didn't work for the Aligarh-born cricketer. India are 206/8 after 19.3 overs.

Shivam Dube has departed on a score of 23 run sin 16 deliveries after Hardik Pandya. India's score reads 205/6 after 18.3 overs. A huge total on the cards still for the Men in Blue. 

Six runs off Trupelmann's over as India are 190/4 after 17 overs. The team management would want a better performance from Dube in the middle, who is struggling heavily in the middle. 

There's no stopping India now. 16 overs gone, India are 184/4. Hardik Pandya has gone berserk in the middle, hitting boundaries for fun. He moved to 41 runs off just 20 balls. Some batting in the middle.

Scholtz got the better of Suryakumar Yadav, who departed for 12 runs off 13 balls. Namibia are bowling well in the middle and the Indian batters are in trouble. The captain departed after a struggling phase. India are 120/3 now. 

Ishan Kishan departed for 61 runs off just 24 balls. Gerhard Erasmus got the better of the southpaw, who was looking for another six. What a smashing show by Kishan in Delhi. Now, Suryakumar Yadav joined Tilak Varma in the middle.

India have smacked the fastest 100 runs in T20 World Cup history. They have made 104/1 after seven overs. Absolute carnage from the Men in Blie. 

At this point, it's Ishan Kishan's world and we are just living in it. Absolutely carnage from the keeper-batter. He hits four sixes in a row and followed by boundary. He completed his half-century in just 20 balls.

"It's a bit quiet at the moment here at the Arun Jaitley Stadium but with India playing again tonight this place is going to rock. It'll be absolutely fever pitch, and it'll be a great night out, whatever happens for the men from Namibia. Now in terms of where this pitch is located, it's a slight bias if I'm standing at this end here to my right, which is a slightly longer boundary. The left is just cut around 59 to 60 over there. There's a hit of about 73 metres down the ground. But the interesting thing for me, because the batters are so good at using ramp shots and scoop shots, these are quite small, these dimensions down here (behind the wicket). I think I'll try and get this one right. I'm going to go the same way, Smithy. It looks flat. It looks well. There's a nice little sheen on it as well. I think it's going to come through nicely. The other thing to look out for is dew. Evening dew. This is a night game, and I covered a lot of India versus New Zealand not long ago, and dew was a factor when it came to the toss. India's second game in the World Cup, and no Abhishek Sharma. It is worth noting that the star batter was dismissed on a golden duck in his last game, but he remains one of the most important members in the side, and it could be interesting to see how Sanju Samson would fare in Abhishek's absence.

Suryakumar Yadav has confirmed that Abhishek Sharma is fit but might take a game or two to gain full fitness. He added that Sanju Samson will replace the southpaw in the playing XI, while Jasprit Bumrah comes in for Mohammed Siraj. 

Namibia have won the toss and elected to bowl first in Delhi. 

Jasprit Bumrah is seen bowling in the nets. He was part of an hight intensity training on February 11 and now, he seems ready to be back in action. 

Ishan Kishan was hit by a Jasprit Bumrah yorker on February 11. He was in immense pain but returned to the nets after a while. The southpaw hit a few sixes upon returning to practice but eventually left the ground with the physio. However, as things stand, he is fit to open the innings. 

Washington Sundar is very likely to feature in the playing XI. India are set to play an extra spinner at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. More will come to light as the toss is set to take place in less than five minutes.

Abhishek Sharma has travelled with the squad to the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. He is currently roaming on the ground. It suggests that the opener may not feature in the Namibia game as he is not training in the middle.

It is worth noting that both India and Namibia have played one game each in the tournament so far. Where Namibia came back with a loss in their clash, the Indian team managed to register a win when they took on the USA. 

Since the 2024 T20 World Cup, Varun Chakaravarthy has claimed 58 wickets in 31 matches, which is the highest tally by any bowler in the format during this period. Can he keep up with the same intensity on a batting-friendly pitch?

Abhishek Sharma was admitted to the hospital on the night of February 10. He was suffering from food poisoning. Tilak Varma, on February 11, informed that the southpaw has been released from the hospital but as things stand, he is unlikely to feature. It needs to be seen if he comes to the ground at all. In case he doesn't feature, Ishan Kishan will open alongside Sanju Samson. 

Ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah missed India's opening game against USA, owing to a high fever. However, he has recovered well and is now set to return to the playing XI. He had a light practice on February 10 in Delhi, while having an intense one on February 11, bowling yorkers and bouncers in the nets.
