IND vs ENG U19 World Cup final LIVE cricket score: Vaibhav Suryavanshi slammed a stellar hundred in the U19 World Cup final between India and England as he put up a show with the bat. Ayush Mhatre also hit a fifty as India put England under the pump.

India sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi slammed a stellar hundred in the U19 World Cup final between India and England as he turned on his best mode in the big final. Suryavanshi slammed a hundred off 55 balls as India put England under the pump despite losing Aaron George early in their innings. Ayush Mhatre hit a strong fifty too as India put up a batting show. India, the most successful team of the tournament, go in unchanged for the final against England in their clash at the Harare Sports Club, Harare. India are the five-time champions of the U19 World Cup and will look for their sixth crown. The Indian side aims to get the better of England, whom they had defeated in the 2022 final too. The Three Lions have won just one U19 World Cup, and that came in 1998. India and England are the only unbeaten teams in the tournament, having won all their group-stage matches, Super Six encounters, and the semifinals. India chased a record 311 against Afghanistan with Aaron George slamming a match-winning century to make their way into their 10th final, while England defeated defending champions Australia to enter their third final in U19 World Cup history after captain Thomas Rew scored a stellar hundred in the first innings of the clash.
India are the most successful team in the tournament's history, having won five titles so far. They have entered the final nine times previously and are looking to win their sixth title in their 10th appearance in the showdown clash. England, on the other hand, have just one U19 World title to their name and that came when they defeated New Zealand in the 1998 final. They were the runners-up in 2022, when they suffered a loss to India in the title clash. With the World Cup on the line, England will look to avenge their 2022 loss, while India will aim for a sixth crown to keep bossing the age-group tournament, in which they have been highly successful. The final will test both teams to their extreme as they are the only unbeaten sides in the tournament and will leave no stone unturned in their bid to get to the glory in Harare.

Harare Sports Club pitch report
"The weather - a high of 28, a low of 16, and humidity is up to 75% with a little bit of a breeze. Let's have a look at the outfield as well. It has been superb in terms of getting it out the middle of the bat. You beat the 30-yard circle, it just runs away. You save your legs here if you're a fielder. The other aspect, once you get it (the ball) up in the air, altitude takes over 1,500 metres above sea level here, so you get it out the middle of the bat and it flies. It doesn't matter how big the ground is," informs Ed Rainsford. "Beautiful blue sky, sunshine, the odd little cloud. But looking down at this pitch, as a batsman, you'd want to get on here today. The only thing I'd say, in the first half hour, there might be a little bit of movement. There's a little more moisture in this pitch than there was on the semifinal pitch that played so flat throughout the day. the mind is all important in your chances of success. The conditions, you have to factor in the opposition, you have to factor in. But the toss, not so much so. If I was a coach talking to the players, I'd say, don't worry about the toss. Whichever way we go, you play aggressive cricket, we'll be fine," said Andy Flower in his pitch report.
