ILT20 Final Highlights: Dubai Capitals win ILT20 2025, scripts tremendous comeback after early setbacks

A six and a boundary from Sikandar Raza won it for Dubai Capitals. First trophy ever for the DC franchise. What a turnaround after a shaky start. Raza is elated. WHAT A HISTORIC WIN!

Shai Hope departed after scoring 43 runs off 39 deliveries. Sam Curran clinched the important wicket. Pressure, pressure and more pressure on Dubai now. The Vipers are in a good spot to get it done and lift the trophy.

50-run partnership between Shai Hope and Rovman Powell. Capitals need 104 runs off 60 deliveries. Difficult but not impossible. We are in for a classic match. Dubai need to enter the All In or Nothing mood now.

It's now a mountain to climb for Dubai. They are 57/3 after eight overs. The team now need 133 runs in 12 overs. Seems extremely difficult but then T20 is a funny game.

Gulbadin Naib departed for five runs off three deliveries. He was in terrific form, leading to the final but the pressure got the better of him. Mohammad Amir gave the breakthrough. Capitals are 16/2

Star batter David Warner departed for four runs off five deliveries. He tried to cut it but a thick inside edge threw the ball on the stumps. The Australian is dejected. Massive wicket for the Vipers. The Capitals are 11/1

Impact sub David Warner opens the batting alongside Shai Hope. The Capitals need a rapid start as chasing 190 on a final is never an easy task. Mohammad Amir starts the proceedings for the Vipers.

Terrific batting display helped Desert Vipers to post 189 runs in the first innings of the ILT20 final. Captain Sam Curran played a terrific knock of 62 runs off 33 deliveries while Max Holden set the tone with 76 off 51. All eyes on Dubai Capitals now as we wait for the chase to begin.

Sam Curran completed his half-century in 28 deliveries. Terrific knock from the skipper on the day of the final. 

The vipers are 161/4 after 18 overs. How many more can they add in the final two? All eyes are on Sam Curran and Azam Khan. Curran is also on his way for a half-century.

The dangerous Max Holden departed after scoring 76 runs off 51 deliveries. Sikandar Raza gave an important breakthrough. The Vipers are 122/4 after 15.1 overs.

The vipers are 76/3 after 10 overs. How many more can they add in the remaining 10? Max Holden still holds the key. Curran needs to play aggressively for the Vipers to post a good total.

Max Holden gets a lifeline. Rovman Powell dropped a sitter. He tried to clear the ropes against Sikandar Raza but the ball didn't carry. It turned to be a simple catch for Powell but he dropped! What a chance.

Max Holden completed his half-century in 32 deliveries. Terrific knock under pressure. Despite losing two wickets, Holden didn't compromise and played a brilliant knock against Dubai. All eyes on him.

The Vipers are 53/2 after the powerplay. Solid start from them after a couple of setbacks. Holden has been key for them, who is now heading for a half-century.

Big blow for the Vipers. Rahmullah Gurbaz departed after scoring just five runs. Obed McCoy once again gave the breakthrough. Gurbaz, after playing a few dots, went for the glory catch but Sam Billings picked up a stunning catch. The vipers are in trouble.

The Vipers are 34/1 after four overs. Rahmanullah Gurbaz had a quiet start, while Holden made 22 runs off 13 deliveries so far. Farhan Khan has been terrific with the ball.

Massive wicket for Dubai Capitals. Desert Vipers opener Alex Hales departed for five runs off four deliveries. Obed McCoy clinched the prize wicket in his first ball. Setback for the Vipers. Max Holden joins Gurbaz in the middle.

Openers Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Alex Hales opened the batting for Desert. They would look for a blistering start as the Vipers lost all three matches against the Capitals this season.
