Ishant Sharma is the senior most bowler of Indian Test team right now and he proved his vitality against England on Day 3 at Edgbaston. Ishant was in lethal form against the English side and picked his eighth five-wicket haul. Earlier this year Ishant played some County Cricket in England conditions for Sussex and that helped him a lot. Ishant, who is the pillar of Indian fast bowling in Test cricket in past few years, sometimes labeled as the defensive fast bowler. But he proved everyone wrong and was almost unplayable for England batsman.
