New Delhi: Delhi Police Monday detained expelled JD-U leader Sabir Ali's wife Yasmin for over two hours after she protested outside BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi's residence, demanding an apology over remarks that Ali was

Ali was inducted into the BJP Friday after being expelled from the Janata Dal-United (JD-U). He was, however, thrown out of the party Saturday after a protest by Naqvi.

Naqvi tweeted: "Terrorist Bhatkal friend joins BJP... soon accepting Dawood."

There has been speculation on the social media that Bhatkal was arrested from Sabir Ali's house.

Police or the union home ministry have, however, not given any such information officially. Ali has also filed a defamation case against Naqvi.
