India legend Rahul Dravid is on top of this list, having faced 31258 balls in his illustrious Test career. He scored 13288 runs in 286 innings at an average of 52.31 as he played 164 Test matches for India while hitting 36 centuries and 63 fifties.

Sachin Tendulkar is in second place of this list after facing 29437 deliveries in his Test career that lasted 24 years. He played 200 Test matches and scored 15921 runs at an average of 53.78. He also smacked 51 centuries in red-ball cricket for India with his best score being an unbeaten 248.

Jacques Kallis of South Africa faced 28903 deliveries in his Test career that lasted 18 years. He played 166 Tests for his country and scored 13289 runs in 280 innings at an average of 55.37 with 45 hundreds and 58 fifties to his name.

Shivnarine Chanderpaul is in fourth place in this list of players to face the most balls in Test cricket. The southpaw faced 27395 deliveries in his career and amassed 11867 runs at an average of 51.37. Chanderpaul also smashed 30 centuries and 66 fifties with 203 being the highest score of his career.

Allan Border of Australia batted superbly in his career in the longest format of the game. He faced 27002 balls while wearing the white jersey for his country and amassed 11174 runs at an average of 50.56 with 27 tons and 63 half-centuries to his name.

Alastair Cook, the former England captain, is in sixth place on this list, having faced 26562 deliveries in Tests. He played 161 matches in the whites for England and scored 12472 runs at an average of 45.35 with 33 tons and 57 fifties to his credit.
