10 | According to a report by The New York Post citing The Barber Law Firm, Brazil ranks 10th on this list. In this South American nation, 13 people have lost their lives so far while attempting to take selfies.

It is to be noted here that the above-mentioned figures span from March 2014 to May 2025, covering nearly 11 years and 2 months. However, such a large number of deaths caused by taking selfies can only be termed as unfortunate. Crowded tourist spots, bridges, tall buildings, cliffs, and railway tracks have proven to be some of the most dangerous locations for selfies.
