PHOTOS | Smog envelops Delhi-NCR, air quality drops

  • Delhi and National Capital Region (NCR) on Tuesday woke up to a thick blanket of smog and a low visibility with morning walkers feeling it hard to breath.

  • The city saw a sharp fall in air quality with places including India Gate and Rajpath enveloped in smog.

  • The minimum temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 16.1 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, a weather official said.

  • Visibility was up to 200 metres in the morning, said the official.

  • Shallow fog dips visibility in Delhi-NCR.
