    Dia Mirza was the second runner-up at the Miss India pageant in 2000 and then went on to win the Miss Asia Pacific title in 2000.

    Dia Mirza also shares an amicable equation with Miss Universe Lara Dutta and Miss World Priyanka Chopra. In the past, the three were often seen bonding together and posing for photos. This photo of the trio, earlier posted by Dia on Instagram, became viral on social media.

    Dia Mirza made her acting debut in Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein. Starring R Madhavan, the film did not do well at the box office but became a classic over the years. She went on to star in other films like Alag, Dum, Deewaanapan, Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge, Parineeta, Dus, Lage Raho Munna Bhai among others.

    The actress has been privy about her personal life. In 2014, Dia married her longtime business partner Sahil Sangha. However, the two got separated in 2019. Later, in February 2021, Mirza married Vaibhav Rekhi. The same year, the actress and the businessman welcomed their first child together.
