Pakistan to present mini-budget on Tuesday: PM Imran Khan

The Government of Pakistan faces a huge challenge of reducing the burdens of trade deficit and budget deficit as the same is weakening its economy.

Pakistan will present its Mini-Budget on Tuesday, informed Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday. Finance Minister Asad Umer will present the budget.

For the remaining nine months of the fiscal year of 2018-19, the Finance Ministry will present the budget. Imran Khan has called for austerity measures to curtail the country's expenses and stressed the need for eliminating corruption from the society.

The Government of Pakistan faces a huge challenge of reducing the burdens of trade deficit and budget deficit as the same is weakening its economy.

The new government has to increase its revenues by taxing the rich strata of the society. By doing that it will be able to reduce the burden of tax on the salaried class. 

To streamline the government's economic policies, the mini-budget is being presented.
