Parliament Budget Session: Piyush Goyal to give statement on India-US trade deal in Rajya Sabha
Parliament Budget Session LIVE: A total of 18 hours has been allocated for the debate on the Presidential address. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to reply on February 4, while Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will give her response on February 11.

The Lok Sabha suspended 8 opposition MPs for disorderly conduct, including throwing papers towards the Chair. Among those suspended were Manickam Tagore, Gurjeet Ojla, Raja Warring, Ebi Eden, Kiren Reddy, and Venkat Raman. The Speaker condemned the incident as a breach of parliamentary decorum and said such behaviour would not be tolerated during the Budget Session.
Proceedings on Tuesday followed a disruption in Monday’s sitting over Rahul Gandhi’s reference to the former Army Chief’s unpublished memoir.
The House witnessed chaotic scenes as BJP members, including Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, objected on the grounds that only formally published material can be quoted in Parliament.
