Kanpur: Commuters at the Kanpur Central railway station yesterday witnessed a very unique display of affection and care when a monkey here turned doctor to save his friend who suffered a stroke from high power transmission lines overheading the railway tracks.
A monkey here become unconscious after coming into contact with a transmission line. The animal suddenly descended on the railway tracks. Fortunately, the track was vacant at the time of incident.
As soon as one of his friends noticed him, he rushed to the incident site with his other associates and instantly began treatment to bring him in a conscious mode.
The injured monkey didn't respond to loud sounds or shakings. Later, the ‘doctor' monkey dipped his friend's body into a nearby drain to which the ‘patient' finally responded.
