Goa Zilla Panchayat Election Results 2025:BJP candidates have registered victories in Siolim, Taleigao, Karapur-Sarvan, Curti, Sanvordem, Sancoale, Usgao-Ganjem, Dharbandora, and Xeldem Zilla Panchayat seats, among others. The Congress emerged victorious in Davorlim, Guirdolim, and Cola.

The counting for the Goa Zilla Panchayat Elections 2025 has concluded, with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) emerging as the single largest party in a contest widely viewed as a key political indicator ahead of the 2027 Goa Assembly elections. The polls witnessed a strong voter turnout of 70.81 per cent, with over 226 candidates contesting across 50 constituencies. The BJP has been in power in the coastal state since 2012.
Major parties in the fray included the BJP, Congress, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Goa Forward Party (GFP), Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP), along with several independent candidates. According to the final results, the BJP won 29 seats, while its alliance partner MGP secured three, giving the NDA a combined tally of 32 seats. The Congress finished with 10 seats, while the Revolutionary Goans Party (RGP) won two. The AAP and GFP bagged one seat each, and four seats were won by independent candidates.
BJP candidates registered victories in several constituencies, including Siolim, Taleigao, Latambarcem, Honda, Socorro, Querim, Karapur-Sarvan, Curti, Sanvordem, Nagargao, Barcem, Sancoale, Usgao-Ganjem, Dharbandora, Calangute and Xeldem. The Congress secured wins in Curtorim, Navelim, Nuvem, Aldona, Davorlim, Guirdolim, and Cola. Among the independent winners were Radhika Paleykar from Arambol and Sunil Jalmi from Betqui-Candola, underscoring the presence of local factors in the otherwise party-dominated contest.
