New Delhi, March 23: Gangs of thieves were on the rampage in Delhi's Rohini area on Tuesday night and decamped with a car, several CNG assessories and kits, computers from a cyber cafe and cellphones, recharge cards and cash from a cellphone shop, all within a half a sq. km area.
The thefts, all on a single night, took place in sector 14 Rohini near the district court complex, police said.
Thieves took away CNG kits and accessories from at least six cars parked inside DUJ apartment complex. They also went off with a car.
In the DDA market, thieves were at work in the night and decamped with mobile phones, recharge coupons, cash and computers from a cellphone shop and a cyber cafe, by breaking open the shutters with oxyacetylene cylinders in the dead of night
The Prashant Vihar police is looking for clues but so far no one has been arrested.
