CBI records statements of Rajasthan ex-minister's staff
Jaipur: A CBI team in Jaipur Sunday recorded statements of staff members at a government bungalow where Rajasthan ex-minister Babulal Nagar was alleged to have raped a woman.A case of rape was registered Sep 17
The CBI will now serve notice to Nagar requiring him to appear before the agency for interrogation, the source said.
The Ashok Gehlot-led Congress government Sep 21 recommended a CBI probe against Nagar.
The victim's statement has been recorded before a magistrate in which she alleged Nagar's relatives were threatening her and offering her money to withdraw the case.
Nagar represents the Dudu assembly constituency in Ajmer district.
