Bihar bomb blast: A small intensity blast close to the stage where Bihar CM Nitish Kumar was present triggered panic on Tuesday. According to reports, the explosion took place just 15 to 18 feet away from where CM Nitish Kumar was present during a function in his home district Nalanda.
The police swung into action immediately and detained one person in connection with the blast at Gandhi High School in Silao, Nalanda.
In yet another huge security lapse, last month, CM Nitish Kumar was attacked by a man in Bakhtiyarpur. The man, who came from behind, was seen walking up the dais and striking CM on the back. He was immediately dragged off by the Chief Minister's security personnel. The man, who was caught on CCTV camera during the attack, was found to be mentally ill.
