At least four to five Indian Army personnel, including an officer, were injured after a car in which they were travelling was hit by a boulder in Ladakh's Durbuk, said officials on Wednesday.

"ROAD ACCIDENT: A boulder from a cliff fell on one of the vehicles of a military convoy in Ladakh, around 1130h on 30 Jul 2025. Recovery action is in progress," Indian Army's Fire and Fury Corps posted on 'X' (formerly known as Twitter).
Similar incident was reported in Ladakh on July 23
Ladakh has been facing heavy rainfall and snowfall over the past few days, leading to a rise in road accidents in the region. A similar incident was reported a few days back, and two people were injured after the vehicle in which they were travelling met with an accident.
The two persons were later rescued by the Indian Army's Fire and Fury Corps and they were sent to a hospital in Karu for further treatment.
"Humanitarian Assistance: One civil car with two occupants met with an accident near Pang, Ladakh. Passengers got injured as their vehicle overturned," the Fire and Fury Corps had said in a post on 'X' on July 23.
"Troops of Fire and Fury Corps provided timely medical support to the injured and successfully recovered their vehicle. They were evacuated to hospital in Karu for further treatment," it had said.
