In a shocking incident reported from Tamil Nadu’s Cuddalore district, a newly married woman allegedly murdered her husband because she did not find him ‘handsome.’
According to police, the incident took place last night when the 22-year old woman attacked her husband fatally inside their house here following a quarrel.
The woman smashed her husband’s head with a grinding stone, police said, adding that the two had gotten married about a week ago.
Police said that the woman started hating her husband, a wood sculptor in his mid 20s, because her friends and relatives said that he was not handsome and not a match for her.
Though the woman came out and cried saying someone has murdered her husband. However, police investigation revealed the actual story after which she was arrested on charge of killing him.
She was produced before a local court which remanded her to judicial custody.
