As per reports, severely injured pilots have been rushed to a nearby hospital.

An Indian Air Force plane crashed near the Odisha-Jharkhand border after taking off from Kalaikunda airbase in West Bengal, official sources said. As per reports, severely injured pilots have been rushed to a nearby hospital.

According to Jamshedpur Senior Superintendent of Police Anup T. Matthew, the plane crashed in Koema Swarnarekha river. The aircraft was on a routine training sortie. 

The exact cause of the accident is not yet clear. A court of inquiry has been ordered into the accident, said the sources.
