Bidaai actress Parul Chauhan, who is currently playing the role of Kartik’s stepmom Suwarna in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, will soon the walk the aisle in her real life. She will be taking some time off for her wedding with actor beau Chirag Thakkar. Parul and Chirag have been dating for three years now. The couple is ready to take the plunge and tie the knot on December 12. However, instead of being a lavish affair, their wedding is going to be a simple court marriage in Mumbai.
The wedding will take place in Mumbai after which the couple will head to Parul’s hometown in Uttar Pradesh for a small reception. Another grand reception will take place in Mumbai for their industry friends. Parul’s parents always wanted to see her settled down and have a family of her own. Now when she’s getting hitched, everyone’s happy.
Parul Chauhan and Chirag Thakkar never had an official marriage proposal. There was no official dating period as well. In fact, everything occurred when their parents met at a family puja. Most of their friends were unaware of the impending wedding. However, the makers of Bidaai and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai knew about the marriage.
