Emotions and nostalgia flowed when Mouni Roy and Adaa Khan decided to bid farewell to much loved show Naagin. The show has been in the headlines for quite some time. The rumour mills have been churning out new reports on the proposed third season of Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin. This show is a major hit in China and is all set to return but unfortunately, you won’t be seeing your favourite Mouni Roy and Adaa Khan in the lead roles.

Speculations are rife that popular TV actress Krystle D’Souza has been roped in for the role but an official confirmation is still awaited. Krystle D’Souza rose to fame for her stint in Star Plus’ Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, in which she featured with Nia Sharma.

Ekta Kapoor’s Instagram post is indicating that a fresh face is all set to debut on the third season of the popular show. The caption of her photo reads, “A new nagin arrives! As we bid Adieu to @imouniroy and @adaakhann from NAAGIN. We welcome the NEW! Will soon reveal my new ‘naagin’ or should I say ‘NAAGINS’ #waitfornaagin3”.

Mouni Roy was quick to respond t o the picture. She left an emotional comment on the photo, reading, “that hurt a little but am excited too.”

It was reported that Mouni Roy quitted Naagin series as she has Bollywood commitments to look after. She is all set to share screen with superstar Akshay Kumar in Reema Kagti’s Gold. The movie is based on historic event of India’s first Olympic win as a free nation in 1948.
