Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha have shared the first photo - them posing with the tiny feet of their baby boy. They also revealed his name, Neer.

The couple welcomed a baby boy on October 19. They had shared the 'good news' with a joint post on Instagram.

Parineeti and Raghav shared their first-ever photo as a family of three. In the first picture, the duo was seen kissing the tiny feet of their son. The second photo was of Parineeti holding her baby's feet and Raghav, holding her hand. 

They also revealed their little one's name and the meaning behind the name. A part of their caption read: "Our hearts found peace in an eternal drop of life. We named him 'Neer'  — pure, divine, limitless."

 

What is the meaning of Neer?

While both Parineeti and Raghav have revealed the reason, there's another interesting analogy to their son's name. Apart from its literal meaning, Neer is derived from a combination of both Parineeti and Raghav’s names.

Two months after announcing pregnancy in August, the couple, in October, joyfully announced that they are now a family of three. The duo wrote in a joint post: "He's finally here! our baby boy and we literally can't remember life before! Arms full, our hearts are fuller. First we had each other, now we have everything. With gratitude Parineeti & Raghav."

In August, they announced the news of their new beginnings in life and wrote, "Our little universe … on its way Blessed beyond measure."

When did Parineeti Chopra, Raghav Chadha get married?

The couple tied the knot on September 24, 2023, at The Leela Palace in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The couple were guests on Mr Rajat Sharma's Aap Ki Adalat, where they revealed their love story. Talking about one of their initial meetings, the Chamkila actor said, "I did not know Raghav. My brothers were big fans of him. My brother Shivang told me to meet him. I told the organizers I wanted to meet Raghav. Raghav was sitting behind me. I went up to him. I said, 'Hello, I am Parieneeti, my brothers are big fans of you'. He replied, 'How sweet". He said, 'We will catch up'. I said, sure, we'll meet in Mumbai. Raghav replied: Why not meet here tomorrow? I was stunned."

And that's how love blossomed, and they went on to start a beautiful family together.
