New Delhi:

Former actor and model Celina Jaitly has filed a domestic violence case against her husband, hotelier Peter Haag on November 25, before the Judicial Magistrate at the Andheri Court in Mumbai under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act.

She has sought damages amounting to Rs 50 crore, along with additional compensation for the alleged loss of income and properties.

What the complaint says

According to court officials, Jaitly has accused Haag of domestic cruelty and emotional distress, requesting protection, residence rights, and financial relief. The matter has been admitted by the court, and a notice has reportedly been issued to Haag, who is currently believed to be residing abroad.

While neither Celina nor Peter has issued a public statement, sources close to the actor indicate that the decision to approach the court came after 'prolonged personal hardships.' The case is expected to be heard in the coming weeks, and Haag’s response will determine the next course of legal proceedings.

Marriage and kids

Celina and Haag married in 2010 in what was widely described as a serene, low-profile ceremony. The couple, who share three children, including twin boys, had built their life between India, Dubai, and Singapore. For years, the two appeared to maintain a stable family life, often posting glimpses of travel and festivals together. The legal dispute has therefore come as a shock to fans who followed their seemingly harmonious journey.
