Sanjay Dutt starts shooting for Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan starrer Kalank

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has begun shooting for Dharma Productions’ Kalank. The Munna Bhai star is the last one to join the said schedule of the period drama

While Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan has already peaked the interest of all their fans with pictures and buzz around their upcoming movie Kalank, fans now have one more reason to be excited about the flick. Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has also begun shooting for Dharma Productions’ Kalank. The Munna Bhai star is the last one to join the said schedule of the period drama

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Instagram to break the happy news to all the fans. He posted a picture from Sanjay Dutt’s  first day of the shoot and wrote, “Sanjay Dutt begins shooting for #Kalank today [18 June 2018]...”

Going by the rich cast of the film, Kalank has already got many eyes waiting for its release. Other than Sanjay Dutt, the flick also stars Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, and Aditya Roy Kapoor. While Sanjay Dutt has just joined the sets, actress Madhuri Dixit has already completed her first schedule with the duo Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan. Not just the young pair, but fans are excited to see if Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit will be paired opposite each other in the movie, or will even share the screen space together as it will be after 25 years that the duo will be seen together onscreen.

Talking about his film career, Sanjay Dutt has been juggling between schedules of many films as he has been bombarded with projects after his return in the industry. He has just completed a schedule of his movie Torbaaz and has even begun shooting for Prasthanam with popular co-actor Manisha Koirala, Ali Fazal and Amyra Dastur.

Speaking about Kalank, it is a period drama directed by Abhishek Varman. The movie will hit the screens next year on April 19.
