Exclusive: Acclaimed wrestler Sangram Singh to marry fiance Payal Rohatgi in Haryana

Sanjeet Singh, better known as Sangram Singh is all set to tie the knot with his fiance Payal Rohtagi by the end of this year. Both of them got engaged four years back. Sangram Singh, who is a world-renowned wrestler, actor and motivational speaker, has brought many laurels for our country. He has been vocal about social issues like women empowerment, animal welfare and girl child education. Universities in Punjab and Haryana will start a scholarship programme named after him. The scholarship will be awarded every year to 50 deserving students of the universities. Singh, who is known for his charity and social causes has also adopted a school in Satara. 

Speaking to Indiatvnews.com, Sangram Singh said, "The wedding, likely in December, will take place in Haryana and it will be a close family affair". He said that he is "planning receptions in Delhi and Mumbai". 

Payal Rohatgi is a Bollywood actress who has also participated in TV reality shows. Payal participated in the Miss India pageant in 2000. She also appeared in films like 36 China Town, Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai and Dil Kabaddi.

Sangram has earlier stated that they planned to tie the knot within a year of engagement, but the date was postponed because both of them were busy with their work commitments. When asked about the delay, Sangram Singh said, "Everything happens when it's meant to and I feel that it's about time now".

It goes without saying that their wedding is going to be grand and many renowned celebs will be seen attending it and we are going to get many dreamy pictures.

On a related note, Sangram yesterday shared a video on Women’s Day and salute ladies for what they are. He even suggested them to be fit.
