Actor Ranveer Singh, who will be seen in filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnus opus ‘Padmavati’ skipped a recent event to avoid his rumoured lover Deepika Padukone as the ace director has reportedly given instructions to both the actors not to be clicked together. The dimpled beauty will be playing the protagonist in ‘Padmavati’.
If reports are to be believed then Bhansali has asked both the actors to stay away from paparazzi before the film’s promotions to avoid further controversies.
This is not hidden that ‘Padmavati’ is facing problems from quite some time. The sets of the film were vandalised and the makers were accused of showing Queen Padmini in bad light. It was also being said that Ranveer, who is playing the antagonist in the film will be having a dream sequence with Deepika. However, the makers made it clear that there is nothing controversial in ‘Padmavati’.

Speculations about Ranveer and Deepika parting ways were rife from quite some time. Both the actors never confessed their love for each other publicly and are also keeping mum on the break rumours. Deepika’s proximity with his ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’ co-star Vin Diesel has added fuel to fire.
‘Padmavati’ is the third collaboration of Ranveer and Deepika with Sanjay Leela Bhansali after ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’. Along with Deepika and Ranveer, the film also features Shahid Kapoor in a prominent role.
