Actress Sonam Kapoor launched the trailer of India’s first silent LGBTQ love story ‘Sisak’ on Monday on his micro blogging site Twitter. The lady was proud to present the trailer of the movie that showcased the story between two men who finds love after they met in the compartment of a local train.

Sonam tweeted, “Immensely Proud & Excited! Presenting the much-awaited trailer of #SisakTheFilm Directed by @futterwackenin.”

‘Sisak’ was written and directed by Faraz Sarif Ansari that deals with the sensitive topic. The trailer beautifully portrays the emotions of two men who were holding themselves from expressing their feelings for each other.

The making of the film was finished last year but the director was finding it difficult to get the producer as people were little scared to touch this sensitive topic.

Ansari stated he wanted to make such type of film because in India being homosexual is considered as offense. Well, the trailer looks promising and strong performance by the actors will sure impress the audience as it has already wooed the ‘Neerja’ actress.

Sonam kapoor is known for her outspoken nature and has never ceased herself from giving opinion on any topic. Thus, it didn’t come as a shock when she launched the trailer of the flick.
