After Chef, Saif Ali Khan is all set to woo the audience with Kaalakani, which will hit the cinemas this Friday. Special screening of the film was held in Mumbai on Tuesday evening where Saif’s friends and family from the industry were seen in full attendance. Right from wife Kareena Kapoor to sister Soha Ali Khan, several popular faces of B-town were spotted at the event. Besides Saif, Kalakaandi also stars Akshay Oberoi, Isha Talwar, Sobhita Dhulipala, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Deepak Dobriyal, Vijay Raaz, Shenaz Treasurywala and Neil Bhoopalam amongst others.
Kareena Kapoor Khan kept it cool and casual in a grey coloured tee and a pair of black jeans. On the other hand, husband Saif Ali Khan was seen in black t-shirt, tracks and a pair of white sneakers.
Soha Ali Khan attended the Kaalakandi special screening with husband Kunal Khemu.
Shruti Haasan looked gorgeous in a black and grey outfit which she teamed with a sling bag and black boots. She was seen posing with her sister Akshara at the screening.
Aditya Roy Kapur and Imran Khan also arrived at the special screening of the movie. While Aditya looked dapper in some denim jacket, black tee and trousers, Imran looked handsome in a brown jacket and blue denim.
Speaking about his film Kaalakandi, Saif Ali Khan said, “We are receiving really exciting response to the film. This is a small but really good film. I am really proud that Akshat made a good film and all other actor’s have performed really well. Whoever saw the movie, they gave us positive feedback about the movie so I hope audience would also like the film as well”.
The movie is touted to be a dark comedy. Kaalakaandi has been directed and written by debutant director Akshat Verma, who has previously written Delhi Belly.
