Irrfan Khan is high on energy amidst sea of fans. Watch videos from the sets of Angrezi Medium

Irrfan Khan is back on the sets after a long medical treatment abroad. The actor has started shooting for the sequel to his blockbuster Hindi Medium. The movie titled Angrezi Medium also has Radhika Madan and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles. Irrfan is currently shooting the film in Udaipur and his pictures and videos from the sets are all over the internet.

In the latest video which is going viral on social media, Irrfan can be seen amidst sea of fans. He cheers along with people and raise his hands in enthusiasm to get photographs clicked.

Earlier, Irrfan Khan and Maddock Film shared the first look of the actor aka Champakji. Irrfan took to Twitter to post a glimpse along with caption, ''GMB serving since 1900s  It’s going to be fun to tell another story #AngreziMedium. Coming soon, with Mr Champakji...Aa Raha Hu phir entertain Karne Sabko''.

Last year, Irrfan flew out to London after being diagnosed with NeuroEndocrine Tumour. After resuming the work, Irrfan took to his Twitter to thanks his fans for their support and wrote, “Maybe somewhere in the pursuit of winning, we forget how much it means to be loved. In our vulnerability, we are reminded. As I leave my footprints onto these steps of my life, I want to pause to be grateful for receiving your immense love and support, it soothed me in my process of healing. So I travel back to you, thanking you from the bottom of my heart.”

Later, his wife Sutapa Sikdar also shared a heart-warming post on Facebook thanking their well-wishers. Sikdar said that she never realized the true meaning of the word ‘unpredictable’ and also called the last year to be the longest.

Taking to her Facebook, Sutapa Sikdar wrote, “Longest year of our life . Time was never measured with pain and hope at the same time ever.while we take our babysteps back to work,to life I am submerged in prayers wishes and faith from friends relatives strangers and a connection with universe which gives us a small chance for this new start. It seems unbelievable …never ever I realized the meaning of the word unpredictable so well…never ever I could feel peoples wishes on my bones my breath my heartbeat which helped me to stay focused and kicking.. i cant take names because there are names and there are names I don’t even know who played angels. Sorry for not been able to answer individually but I know what you mean to us. I don’t see beyond one day and that day is today where everything seems fine. For today we go back to work.and the dance and song of life continues. Thank you for believing in your prayers.”

Angrezi Medium is directed by Homi Adjania and produced by Dinesh Vijan. Producer Dinesh Vijan expressed his happiness on reuniting with Irrfan. "Having him back on the set was a surreal feeling, he’s undoubtedly one of the best actors in the country. When he gave the first shot, everyone around got emotional. For me, it was one of those life-defining moments working with him again after Hindi Medium. Having him and Homi (director Homi Adajania) together was something all three of us have always wanted, he told Mumbai Mirror.

As per the reports, Irrfan and Deepak Dobriyal will play brothers in the film who have inherited a 100-year-old sweet business and are also rivals. Manu Rishi will play a distant cousin, who owns the biggest sweet shop also adds to the rivalry within the family. Radhika Madan will be seen as Irrfan's daughter and talks are on for another leading lady. Reports say that Kareena will be seen in the role of a cop.
