Akshay Kumar keeps legendary actor Charlie Chaplin's photograph in his wallet

Actor Akshay Kumar, who will be seen as Super Judge in the comedy show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, has said that he carries the picture of late legendary actor Charlie Chaplin in his wallet and also called him the greatest entertainer of all times. Along with Akshay, Mallika Dua, Zakir Khan and Hussain Dalal will also be seen on the show as mentors.

"Charlie Chaplin is still undoubtedly the greatest entertainer of all times. Till today, I have his photograph in my wallet. I personally believe in his saying, ‘Life is a tragedy when seen in close-up, but a comedy in long-shot'," Akshay said while shooting for the first episode of the show.

The Great Indian Laughter Challenge will soon be aired on Star Plus.

 

On a related note, Akshay recently shared his look from Gold on his birthday. Telly actress Mouni Roy will also be seen playing a prominent role in the film which is slated to release next year.
