A woman and a man were injured when the false ceiling of the Delhi Jal Board office collapsed in the Preet Vihar area of ​​Delhi. Police took both of them to a nearby hospital for treatment, where their condition is stable. The fire department said that they received a call at 10:55 AM reporting a building collapse in the Preet Vihar area. Upon reaching the spot, they found that it was the Delhi Jal Board office on the ground floor, and the false ceiling had collapsed, injuring two people. They were taken to the hospital, where they were discharged after treatment. Three fire tenders reached the scene.

Soon after receiving information, the firefighters rushed to the spot to start the rescue opeation. They are checking to see if anyone is trapped under the debris. The fire department received a call about a building collapse near the old Water Board office in Preet Vihar. Upon arrival, firefighters found that the false ceiling of the old Water Board office had collapsed; further investigation is underway. As of now, nothing serious has been reported.

Last year, in November, four people, including three men and one woman, were injured due to the collapse of a newly constructed structure in New Delhi. The collapse was witnessed on Street number 6, Jwala Nagar, New Delhi.

Four fire tenders were dispatched to the incident site in Jwala Nagar. One family member reported that the family was constructing a hall on the third floor of the house; as a result, the roof of the newly built structure collapsed.

Four people were trapped in the debris of the collapse.According to the sources, four were injured and were shifted to the hospital. Out of the wounded, two were members of the same family, and two were labourers.
